SHEQ National Cert was established as a First Tier South African Based Certification Body in January 2014. SHEQ National Cert are also listed in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) database as an Internationally Recognized Accredited Certification Body Accredited by an Accreditation Body (SANAS) who are a member of the IAF. SHEQ National Cert have grown its client base over a large sector of clients covering clients across various Production and Services Industries. This also included and expansion of the SHEQ National Cert Audit Team with auditors who have the relevant Industry experience and Competencies. Testament of SHEQ National Cert name and footprint in the Certification industry in South Africa is that the company have grown exponentially since its start-up.
In 2025 SHEQ National Cert expanded their footprint by applying for accreditation form the EIAC. This led to the founding of SHEQ National Cert International whom is also listed in the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) database as an Internationally Recognized Accredited Certification Body Accredited by an Accreditation Body (EIAC) who are a member of the IAF.
As a testament to the ongoing continual improvement and growth within the industry, SHEQ National Cert included ISO 3834 and ISO 22001 to their scope expanding their service offering.
